The University of Birmingham is an institution on the move with a strategic focus on its global reputation and needed a brand to match. We developed a differentiated proposition and visual identity focused on their active, purpose driven ethos.
The stripped back colour palette, assured tone of voice and innovative brand device combine to reflect Birmingham’s self-confidence and pragmatic solutions-oriented outlook that is befitting of a global elite institution.
We developed a brand position based on the notion of ‘activating with intent’ that reflects the purposeful uncompromising attitude of the university. This is consistently applied through language and messaging to convey the ambition and global impact of University of Birmingham.
One of the key brand activations around the September launch was the short film we created for Open Day.
We have also worked on Brand Transformation projects for University of Exeter and University of Galway.
